Took me a second to realize what you were doing there.

The last chance at 65 and 74 is going to be tough.

Especially 65kg, on the college boards I implied Eiermen should have stayed and tried to win a Yainni-less folkstyle title this year since he had 0 chance of making the team.... that's aging well (dont see him qualifying for the tournament)

74kg yeah it's tough but you also got Wick under qualified and last chance (so may edit)

A few potential road blocks for Nolf if he competes. Is it top 2? So Nolf and Nazar (youd think)

Edit* 86kg itll be fun to see who snags those last spots. They could definitely pull some upsets come trials. None of em will make the team. But upset potential.

The rest, nobody who can impact a bracket will be a "last chance" guy...

@spladle08 yes its the top 2 for each weight, with true seconds, and anyone who is already qualified cannot enter.
Thanks for the heads up. 65kg is anyones guess.

And good question on Mega.
And I wonder about anyone else from 61kg. We havent seen some of the guys.
Brewer and Mega obviously the top 2 but im thinking there were a few others. Maybe they just bumped to 65kg and I didnt pay attention

I hope certain guys call it quits after this. competing for so long is starting to tarnish my memory of great wrestlers.
Guys like Ness (2), perralli, Sanders.... think its time to move on with your lives.
Oh let em wrestle until they're tired of it.
I always wondered "why go out there to get teched twice"... (for some guys) but they just love competing.

Wouldnt it be something if he just came out of the woodwork, having not lost a step, techs the bracket and does his ridiculous matador impression after every match.

I'd buy tickets

It's more likely he gets knocked out from an errant hands to the face and injury defaults.

The Hidlay bros will definitely put their hats in at last chance if they do not win NCAAs at 74 and 86 respectively.

As a matter of fact here are the college toons I see giving it a go:

57- Mueller

65- ?

74-Hidlay, Deakin, Joseph, Marinelli

86-Hidlay, Brooks

97-Brucki, Warner

125-Cassioppi, Wood, Orndorff, Hall, Hillger

You do realize that was the same poster correct?   I’m pretty sure Plasmodium was poking fun at himself...

My thoughts

57kg:

Clark: If he is back, which i am guessing he will be by the qualifier.

In no Clark: Rodriquez or Waters

65Kg:

I say Meredith, maybe Eireman

74Kg:

Didn't Lavalle take 5th?  If so he is qualified.

Nolf: He and Vincenzo should be an interesting one.  I'm guessing the hope is that Vincenzo wins the NCAA.  Otherwise he will have to beat Nolf.  I imagine Nolf will win that last spot.

86kg:

Tough call here.  Brooks or Heflin

Brooks: I don't see him getting in via NCAA, because I think Zahid wins that.

97kg:

White

125Kg:

This depends on Cassar

Cassar: If he doesn't win the NCAA, which will be tough with Gable a year older.

If not Cassar:

Elam: tough call with Nevils, but with Elam's youth he has more growth by the trials IMO.

2 spots up for grabs here with a "true 2nd"
Does anyone have the date for this tourney?
