Iowa's upperweights look awesome. 125: #6 Brock Hudkins (Indiana) vs #13 Michael Colaiocco (Penn) 141: #7 Max Murin (Iowa) vs Dylan Duncan (Illinois) 184: #11 Tanner Harvey (American) vs Abe Assad (Iowa) Hudkins is pretty good. I like him vs. Colaiocco. 1 southend reacted to this

Styles make that match rather simple win for Hillger. I do believe if Stencel does meet Cass that it will end within a minute. Well he better go 9-9 because Stencel beat him last year. 2 ConnorsDad and Mphillips reacted to this

I always feel bad for guys who dominated in high school and then struggle in college. It's got to be so tough to destroy everyone all through high school, and then be on the receiving end in college. I solved this problem by not being any good in high school. 1 5 1 Bigboi Trained, russelscout, lost and 4 others reacted to this

wrestlingnerd 2,593 Report post Posted December 30, 2019 Desanto is such a guilty pleasure of mine. I tune in to his matches more than anyone else’s this year. He reminds me so much of how the Brands wrestled. Different go-to attacks and tendencies but the brutal pace and the tenacity of his tie ups and hand fighting is almost comical to watch. What a beast. I would hate to wrestle him. .

I’ll take Braunagel over Brands in a tight one 197- Brunner vs Davison- this has potential to be the best match of the round. I’ll take Brunner. 285- Big Cass vs Elam- not sure if Elam has the size to stay competitive with the big guys. Here his chance to prove people wrong Davison over Bruner, Elam over cas......my picks Elam redshirting to get bigger but guess he is like 240 now

goheels1812 505 Report post Posted December 30, 2019 Sherman’s one major hole is getting off bottom. Tied 2-2 going into the 3rd and he has to take neutral so he doesn’t get ridden out then loses anyways in OT because he can’t get off bottom.

He's making a big cut down from 157 last year. He outwrestled O'Connor, but didn't have enough in the tank to finish it.
