87 kg - Pat Martinez (bronze)
87 kg - Joe Rau (bronze)

Just watched a few matches, 63 kg Stig-Andre Berge, NOR vs Dmytro Tsymbaliuk, UKR front headlock at the end was wicked, somewhat surprised UKR kept consciousness.  Seems silly that the official in a situation like that still needs to get confirmation of the fall with the Chairman.

Just came back to my computer but USA wrestling keeps me up to date on the action with this gem (Mustve been a  whooping):

97 kg: HOLY COW! Hancock picks up a tech fall over two-time defending U23 World champion Novikov in 54 seconds!

Hancock's progression seems to have leveled out. Much like Bey's.

not sure i agree...

bey looked noticeably more aggressive/offensive at nationals... much different than he has in the past...

hancock was totally dominant in his bronze medal match...

i think just looking at a score doesn't really mean much...

I always think Hancock has the most potential of our guys, but it never pans out....
Guess I'm not technically wrong as we don't usually accomplish anything anywhere... but if I had to pick one of our guys to nab a Senior Level Greco Gold... he has to be the most likely to "put it all together"

I think Bey just doesn't have the defense, or solid go-to offense.
The high flying, brilliant throws he does have are amazing, and he murders the lesser guys, but they don't work against the top guys and he can't keep them from scoring.
Hancock just seems to I dunno... have brain farts. I think in any given match he can crush anyone in the world.

hancock jumped levels last season and medalled at all of the ranking events...

he just got beat at worlds... wrestling is hard... and it's WORLDS

and i am super curious how bey performs tomorrow... if he goes out and is as active as he was at nationals, he can beat anyone on this planet...

bey has all the offense in the world... previously, he just relied on a 15 second burst per match to win it... made me crazy... he is wrestling much different right now...

I'd love to see him beat some top guys at this level. I hope you're right

Hey Greco savants....
What is happening with Coon, is he just half training, half business worlding....
is he game planned for now
is it something else

it is because he is not very good... his technique is awful... he is just big, that is all... his silver medal was a function of the draw of draws...

i can't believe schultz  lost to him... i don't anticipate that happening at trials again...
