You would think someone as good as Baev would want to commit 100% to his Olympic run. Is it possible he is going down to 65 and just wasn’t ready to make the full cut? I was thinking he would go 74 and would be bulking up. Realistically he probably won’t make the team, but you’d think he’d commit to his weight soon 1 spladle08 reacted to this
2td3nf 537 Report post Posted January 23, 2020 Vito's first round is against Sabanov (RUS), who won bronze at Jr Euros up at 61. Winner gets Tuskaev or KAZ next round. Good test for Vito right out of the gate.

77again 104 Report post Posted January 23, 2020 I like watching Vito wrestle, but will be shocked if even makes top 5. Incredibly tough tournament for a guy who is not even in our top 3 at this time. I would be surprised if Fix, Lee, Colon, or Gross could place here. The travel situation alone is putting you a few points in the hole for starters, and there are at least six Russians in this weight with very solid resumes. I hope I am wrong.
