Pennsylvania Hawkeyes by B1G Wrestling

Recommended Posts

BTN just posted this video on You Tube. I played it several times, you will too.

Who knew Tom Brands got in his car and drove 12 hours to Kemerers home in PA when he learned Micheal was having seconds thoughts about joining the Hawkeyes that first year?  This video reveals just that plus other interesting information about the "Pennsylvania Hawkeyes."

Am surprised they don't have a number of them doing the Transfer Portal after seeing what Iowa is really like.

Hmmm...Not likely, because small town PA basically = Iowa.  Probably feels pretty close to home.

Maybe Brands personally drives them around to John Wayne's birthplace and through the Bridges of Madison County and tells them they just missed seeing Clint Eastwood and then to the house Grant Wood painted with the farmer with his pitchfork & wife for American Gothic. Sure fire way to impress kids from Pennsylvania?

Murrysville and Exeter twp are not exactly small towns. The other three guys, yeah.

Wikipedia shows  Exeter with grades K, 1-12,13. Like Canada?
