NCAA Minneapolis Seating

Does anyone know of the exact mat location/placement for the tournament? Just curious as to how seating, site lines, mat arrangements, etc.. will be done. Wrestling in a FB stadium could potentially leave you sitting 50-75 yards away from the mats.

Mats are going to be evenly spaced throughout the football field with a LOT of room in between them.

On the flip side I think the tickets are also cheaper. My recollection is that I paid over $1000 for all sessions in Cleveland to get in the loge. I paid under $300 in Minneapolis to get in the end zone lower level.

$1000 from scalpers?

$300 is average price over past 10 years or so.

Prices were not lower than previous years for the lower bowl. 

50-75 yards from the mat is a low end estimate, I think.

I'll reserve final judgement until I'm in the stadium, but I currently hope this will be a one year experiment.

No insider info., but common sense tells us there's just no way the views will be as good as in prior arenas. We'll probably be able to get a good look at the mat right in front of us and that's it.

No, those were the controversial seats that the arena held back to the last minute. Maybe it was over $1000 for two.

I am interested to see how they use the huge video boards.

If they are utilizing the board for actual matches, it might not be too bad.

 

The Stadium is almost brand new and is definitely state of the art. There are a ton of questions and I hope they get it right.

It is nice that tickets are easily accessible, but we shall see how it goes.

Not needed, just bring a telescope you can watch it on some guy's phone 75 rows below you, no need to waste your own data.  :)
