Parris vs Gable S., who ya' got?

Recommended Posts

Gable at the B1G tourney and Parris gets him at the big dance.

Parris has improved so rapidly and seems like the type who learns from a loss and makes the necessary adjustments. I don't think he has any pride or ego issues if he does take a L, nor do I think he will allow himself to be taken out of any match, mentally. He has nothing to lose here, I hope he let's it fly.

Gable on the other hand, while super talented, seems (I have no evidence, just my opinion and gut feeling based on some in-match interactions between he and his coaches) to not be as open to his coaches advice or any constructive criticism.

Gable will then be 0-2 at becoming a National Champion and will transfer out of Minne, blaming the coaching staff for his shortcomings.

Also, I'm usually wrong about everything.

I have the same feeling about Gable. Parris seems more like a sponge for knowledge right now, while Gable seems complacent.

I am glad I was wrong about Cass and I was glad to see him wrestle Gable last weekend.  Not sure he could do much better at keeping it close but props for him not "ducking" Gable.
