I watched a Cadet level girl's freestyle event from Russia on YouTube today and..

I really enjoyed myself!  

I knew there was an event being carried on two streams for each mat.  I picked the first one that came up which appeared to be cadet level girls (I will watch the boys tomorrow).  

It had a little of everything and I imagine some is the level it was at where there is a wider disparity in talent and skill:

• Lots of takedowns;
• A couple slams -- one led to an injury and you could tell the girl that one felt bad;
• A number of pins and pin attempts;
• A lot of turns;
• Some reversals;]
• I only recall one passivity warning the entire time;
• One older ref for most of the action -- may have been physically incapable of squatting down to check for a pin so mostly relied on the outside judges and would do an air count.

It was really fun and I just wanted to share.
