Is it really likely to be spread through breathing?

According to WHO, each infected person infects another 2-2.5.   If you can get it just from breathing, I'd think that number would be a lot higher.

Its not the breathing, its the little drops of saliva that come out of your mouth when you talk, and don't realize, that land on tables, door handles, railings....etc.  Not to mention that which comes out when you sneeze and cough.

Sneezing and coughing I get obviously.    I could see how getting it through talking is possible.   More reason for people to just stare at their phones I guess.
