One of the announcers as Ed Ruth locked a cradle on the edge. The commentator was thinking that would be same penalty as the locked hands moments before. Why would someone agree to be a commentator at the NCAA's if you they didn't know the rules of the sport?

Well I did noticed one of them said right after that you can lock hands for cradles is allowed, so I'm thinking it was mess up.

Listening to the announcers suggest McMullan made a mistake in taking a shot to try to win the match instead of continue to stand and lock up with Nelson. He was close on several shot and had to do something to have a chance to the match. I am turning off the sound for the rest of the night, the lack of wrestling knowledge by the commentators is taking away from the event.

They need to pull in Robles and let him have more input in the play by play. He's done a solid job in the past of explaining things.
