Those are all the champs over the past 50 years that I can remember.  After that you have 4x AA's in Simmons and Bennett and a ton of NCAA Finalists.  Not sure who I would add.

Edited to Add:  I can't believe I forgot Jackson and Metger even though they were before my time.  I left Porter out since he was a couple years before the last 50 years.

Peery- but that's not why I'm quoting this.

You have Ed without Hugh?

Rex took over HC at Pitt the Summer before Hugh's senior year in HS.

Hugh stayed with someone in Oklahoma, so he never wrestled in a Pa HS. I would not have listed him either.

Was Dziedzic a 3 time D2 1 time D1. If Schalles gets credit for 2+2?

Funny, I posted just before you.  You can tell our age differences a bit, since you forgot Simaz and Cunningham and I forgot Jackson, Metzger and Porter.

I’d have Myles Martin firmly in the top 10.

I completely agree. I'd have Kellen Russell Fifth and Martin 6th. His results at an upper weight with a true freshman National Title beat the other one time champs listed.

3) J. Tsirtsis (1-3-7)

4) K. Jackson (1)

5) S. Micic (4-2-3)

***In the absence of COVID-19, Nick Lee likely would have jumped into this list.

Myles is from NJ, but he wrestled HS in Maryland at McDonough.  So he's counted as NJ now?

I made the original list and I was hesitant to put him on so I made him honorable mention but as another poster pointed out he did represent NJ at Fargo and wrestled on some NJ all star teams so it is what it is

Yeah, I dunno.

If that's the case, then

I hereby decree that Henry Cejudo's Olympic gold medal belong to California wrestling history since he was born in East Los Angeles!

Tom Brands - 3 x NCAA champ, world and Olympic gold

Bill Koll – career undefeated three time NCAA champion

Terry Brands - 2 x NCAA champ, 2 x world gold and Olympic bronze

I wasn't suggesting he should or shouldn't represent NJ here especially given the rule of where the HS was I was simply responding to a statement saying he didn't represent NJ since 8th grade. That poster didn't say in HS, I said that he didn't during the season but did in Fargo. I was nit-picking as I'm known to do.
