I believe I saw a color version of it, not the entire match, but most of it in a documentary about Gable and the 1996 team called “Freestyle: The Victories of Dan Gable”

Was think of watching but guess you just gave away the ending, next time please lead with "spoiler alert." ;)

How do people think gable and Owings would have done in this years 141 bracket? Would either one have been close to lee or pletcher?

Lee would tech them both with ease.

The guys in the video, probably.   But if Gable and Owings were wrestling today and had the same training etc available to them I’m sure they’d be just as good.

They’d be a force I’m sure!

Who do you think taught him the Fireman's Carry?

Well sure, you were in Larry's corner, correct?

Pretty sure The MedicineMan has a photo.  Hey MedicineMan!

Who do you think taught him the Fireman's Carry?

My guess is his high school coach in Canby, Oregon, or his college coach, Jim Smith at University of Washington!  Or maybe Rick Sanders.
