Anyway so when the twitter mob is done tearing scraplife to pieces ( a small wrestling only business) and demanding everyone leave the company and they will eventually have to close down there factory and lay off a bunch of low to middle wage people which will undoubtedly include plenty of black and Hispanic workers, in the middle of pandemic with millions already out of work. Will the social justice warriors like Gross, Downey, James green and Nomad to name a few , will they start a fund for these everyday people that are going to lose a job bc of there “wokeness” ...so by getting mad at a drunk white guys Facebook post they will probably indirectly cost dozens of people ,including some black people there lively hoods all in the name of social justice and black lives matter.

and what did they accomplish out of all this? Nothing, nothing at all except probably hurting innocent people. Dividing wrestling fans and I personally know 2 brothers who dropped Flo after they saw nomad garbage virtue singling post...the man is like 32 pledging to combat and fight racism, like what the hell have you been doing the last 30 years then? Non political people see right through the BS

but god forbid try to tell them this because they ll just block you or pat Downey will incoherently threaten to beat you up ....

I expect him to show some level of loyalty to the people that supported him from the beginning. Imo leaving is the easy more popular way out.

Anyone know how much any of these guys were actually making from ScrapLife?  I can't image it was very much, and seems whatever it was probably isn't worth the backlash.

Will be interesting if ScrapLife will be able to maintain the rigths to sell the gear with these guys' names on it.

People are missing a larger point on this - since when are people not entitled to express an opinion in this country?  Now Drew Blees can't express his opinion on the kneeling during the national anthem without being castigated as a racist?  This guy from Scraplife has a right to express his opinion regardless if it is popular or not.  There is nothing remotely racist in that guy's post.  If we are not free to criticize  or disagree with a political party (Democrats) or a very political group pushing an agenda (like BLM) we are in big trouble in this country.  If you think I am out of line check out the Van Jones interview with some singer named Andra Day - according to her "you can't control the the thoughts of the people being oppressed.  You have to control the thoughts of the oppressor  - whether they're aware of it or not" end quote - So the message if you buy into the concepts of "systemic racism" "institutional racism" and "white privilege" is that we can be racist even if we don't realize it.  That is very convenient.  The goal posts have been magically moved in the midst of the game and its still happening.  I believe that I like many Americans are very committed to reaching what the original goal was as it was eloquently described in MLK's I have a dream speech.  Personally I think this country is a hell of a lot closer to being at that original goal than people (especially liberal Democrats) give it credit for.  Well I have probably said more than I should but not allowing people to have an opinion should bother all Americans.

i don't disagree with any of this...

but, dude did express his opinion...

the bigger issue in my mind is how stupid do you have to be to express that particular opinion on business letterhead at this point and time?

it was basically suicide by public opinion and he had to know it was going to happen...

if he was doing it knowing what was going to happen and decided to be a martyr for his own personal cause then so be it...i can respect that...

but instead it played out like a poorly thought out drunk text when he dik tucked immediately afterwards...

Well you do have a point that he probably should have known the fallout.  We are just on thin ice when unpopular opinions start ruining lives.  Pretty soon the silence is deafening.

if he wanted to make a stand as a concerned citizen to prove a point he very well could have...

it would have been smarter to do it on his own personal platforms and more noble to stand up for his beliefs instead of running for the hills like a scared dog once the inevitable happened...

And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet
Axe
And saw

Or the social media versions of hatchets axes and saws.  I just heard this Rush song "Trees" this morning and found it pertinent to what is going on now.

When the mob decided they are right, you are wrong now shut up and kneel ....the same people ( lebron and college kids with 0 world experience) telling people that just don’t get it when it comes to kneeling for anthem when they literally don’t get why it’s so disrespectful themselves, but apparently twitter and a few tv channels get to decide everyone’s opinion now,

if the NFL was worried about losing viewers when this first happened years ago I can’t help but wonder how much they’ll lose now when you have people telling Drew Brees to shut the f**k up about how he’s against disrespecting the flag.

Brees has literally help rebuild New Orleans twice and donated like over 15 million to the city and runs countless charities and never had any issues his whole career yet clowns like pat Downey are twitter heros for bulling his peers into leaving a business but Brees is told to shut up apologize and has to apologize daily for something that over 100 million Americans agree with him about, you want to talk about dividing people there it is ...

We live in a world where go fund me shut down a page for a bar owner whose place got destroyed in Alabama bc someone leaked his text messages with him calling George Floyd a thug and calling the people trashing the city idiots..so now you can’t raise money for people unless they agree with the mob or they shut up and keep there mouth shut

All the white people on here complaining how their opinions are being infringed upon are completely laughable... I in no way condone people rioting, looting and destroying businesses but they are a very very small percentage of the people protesting.

How any person can say this is dumb or a waste of time is on the wrong side of history. These protests are larger than the civil rights movements in the 60s and taking place all over the world. Police brutality is not a partisan issue and it is simply a fact that blacks are targeted much more often than whites. Why is it a problem to want to change that? Blacks have the lowest average income of any race in the US. They are the most incarcerated of any race in a country that incarcerates 5 times as many people as the next closest country. There has been a decentralized oppression that has fed itself for years. If you agree with the constitution or any religious teachings that everyone is created equal, why would you be anything but supportive of people wanting to be treated fairly and equally under the law?

Just because the media whether it be Fox News or CNN sensationalize everything And it wears on you, doesn’t mean the protests are ‘bad’ or not warranted. People on here whining about how their disturbing opinions are not being respected really need to get a clue. Would your opinion have been blacks should not have been land owners? That women should never have had the right to vote? Movements like this are what produce progress. If you are against that progress and equality of every human on the planet, then you better believe people are going to come after you because you would be the kind of person standing in front of positive progress.

People need to get over themselves, no one is infringing on your opinion. Go shout from the rooftops how you don’t want equality, just be ready for the consequences.

Explain how kneeling during the national Anthem is disrespectful, and who it is disrespectful to.

I don't get why Nomad's twitter posts would get someone to unsubscribe to Flo. just unfollow or block Nomad on twitter. seems like that would actually solve the problem, whereas unsubscribing from Flo just stops you from seeing the content on FloWrestling, not Nomad's objectionable tweets. makes the story sound, I don't know, unbelievable?

peaceful protests is one of the cornerstones of this nation...

anyone rioting or looting should be put down...

as far as an opinion being unpopular and consequences, that is not what has been happening for years in this country...

That bar was not destroyed.  The protests in Birmingham allegedly diminished business. The 'somebody' who leaked was the co-owner.  The guy is a political prop, not a martyr.

Also lol at the statement, the top wants you to believe "the only people ever killed by police officers are black". Dude black people are literally at the bottom of the American pyramid due to systematic racism. They came here as slaves! And were considered 3/5th of a f*cking person!!  BLM is simply just saying, I matter as a person because historically I haven't. The top!? I think we will know when blacks simply just reach equality because they'll be the first ones to say it.

I live in a city and have friends that are in the police force, in Buffalo, NY no less which has been all over the news. I have been in constant communication with them and I have gotten updates from them directly.

You literally lost all credibility by saying half the people protesting are rioting, if that were the case, it would be all out war on the streets. To say half the people are getting paid is such a nut job conspiracy to diminish what is going on it also significantly reduces your credibility.

You must live on a farm and be terrified of people that are different from you. You must live in constant fear. I feel bad for people like you that have been so brainwashed about all this that all you can do is say half the people are rioting or looting. Your post is a complete joke, was your granddaddy a confederate soldier? Why harbor so much resentment and hate?

Rioting and looting is wrong and it IS a small percentage of people and you are choosing to focus on the outliers than the broader issue at hand.
