jdalu75 101 Report post Posted July 4, 2020 Probably gonna be a short thread. My list begins with Pat Milkovich in the 1975 NCAA tournament. He was a junior with two NCAA titles to his credit. Immediately after his OT loss to John Fritz, ending his hopes of being the first four-time NCAA champion, he stood on the mat and joined in the applause for Fritz. One of the greatest examples of sportsmanship I've ever seen.

Konquest 122 Report post Posted July 5, 2020 In recent years, IMAR and Gilman come to mind, the latter being somewhat surprising given his penchant for talk and whatnot.

He was unable to score score in 8:58 of wrestling and conceded the last 2 seconds with a handshake. That took discipline.

That took discipline. It did. It took an absolute stellar performance, hardwork, and talent to beat Karelin. No shade at Rulon. Karelin just was so good, I dont think he loses with a different rule set
