He actually sorta kinda actually addressed a direct technique question right away instead of evading and trying to act mysterious to make himself look like a real expert.. and not just another dad who never did anything trying too hard lol. I genuinely consider it progress. And my whole thing with the scoring sequence is that the perception and discussion would be completely different if a Russian, especially a Saitiev hit it, not an American.
