hammerlockthree 2,635 Report post Posted September 11, 2020 Gilman/Lee Retherford/Yianni Nolf/Dake Taylor/Downey (everyone still wants to see it!) Snyder/Cox Gwiz/Steveson(?) And yeah throw in the womens matches. The reason this can't go down is tribal hatred/politcs as far as I'm concerned.

1032004 1,466 Report post Posted September 11, 2020 Gwiz isn’t NLWC is he? What’s Cassar up to these days? If healthy a Cassar/Gable match in free could be cool
AnklePicker 646 Report post Posted September 11, 2020 (edited) Bo / Zahid? And why not Gomez / Burroughs for some added heat? Edited September 11, 2020 by AnklePicker
AnklePicker 646 Report post Posted September 11, 2020 (edited) Or Aaron Brooks / Zahid and how about Kerkvliet / Parris? If you're gonna have a card might as well fill it! Edited September 11, 2020 by AnklePicker
Lurker 2,039 Report post Posted September 11, 2020 Gilman/Lee would love to see this Retherford/Yianni we've seen a few times, will see plenty more I'm sure. How about an RBY instead? If nothing else there would be alot of action Nolf/Dake either/or on this one. Good name match up but not sure how this match would go. Would be interesting to see Taylor/Downey (everyone still wants to see it!) not everyone, just don't care anymore, just kind of done with Downey unfortunately. Would much rather see a competitive match up. Snyder/Cox pure fire and what a preview. Gwiz/Steveson(?) good match up, would like to see if GS is over the proverbial hump with Gwiz And yeah throw in the womens matches. the women get after it, please do The reason this can't go down is tribal hatred/politcs as far as I'm concerned. I'm thinking there's many reasons other than hatred and politics as to why the exact line up exactly they way you wanted it isn't happening. Just a guess. The one I would disagree with is RBY replacing Retherford. RBY might be a little small for Yianni who is rumored to be bumping up to 149. I would rather see Nick Lee take on Yianni. They wrestled their freshman year at an open tournament with Yianni taking it with some room to spare. Then Yianni denied us a rematch in the third place bout at the Senior Open last year. 1 Ogalthorpe Haywood reacted to this

nhs67 2,063 Report post Posted September 11, 2020 Johnny D to 149 is for team purposes. He has said many times 141 isn't tough for him and that he won't be cutting for 149.

It's basically making the sport worse on behalf of the paranoid idea that your feel is more special than your opponents.
