Bartlett would be pretty small for 149 this year, if penn state was going completely all in then it would make more sense for him to be at 141 and move Lee up, otherwise it’s going to be another of Verk, whose one of Cael’s favorites, unless bussiello made some big jumps during the lockdown 149 it’s probably Verks spot

and 197 will definitely be beard

Cornell

125 - Arujau

133 - LaJoie probably

141 - Saunders

149 - Yianni

157 - Yapoujian

165 - Ramirez or a beefed up Richard

174 - Foca

184 - Dean

197 - Darmstadt probably or Cardenas in a weight with basically two AAs

285 - Fernandes

my predictions but with a pretty good source

Which do you think is the better lineup for PSU at 141/149, Bartlett/N. Lee or N. Lee/Verk?

@Class Isn't Facundo still in HS?

Lee at 141 is a contender.

He would be small for 149.  So the answer is Lee at 141.  Verk over Bartlett

Don't be surprised if Olympic hopefuls skip the season to focus on freestyle. Micic, Massa, Vito, Yianni, and Kerk immediately come to mind.

Is it possible that they guys you named above pick and choose the college duals and tournaments they enter rather than skip the season all together?

If Matt goes at 157, does that mean all 3 brothers would be starting at the same time?

They should have the 3 Lee's matchup against the 3 Finesilver's at the next NLWC event!

I can get behind this.

Lee is a contender at either weight, but Bartlett even at a deeper weight probably has the same AA chance as Verk, but Bartlett would definitely give you higher upside and more bonus points.

I think Lee is right at the top of 141 and 149.  Outside of the Pletxher Big 10 match he has been impressive over the last year.  His freestyle matches over Eirmann and Molinaro were super impressive.

I hope college wrestling happens to completion because it will result in an entertaining year with these line-ups.

I can predict without much chance of failure that Iowa will dominate NCAAs with that lineup (and with PSU depleted).

The margin of error isn’t anywhere near what they seemed to have this past year.   I think everyone at PSU feels that Kerk, Brooks, RBY and Starocci have progressed significantly while Bartlett is turning heads.

Michigans back half is really good.  The bigger Amine is going to lap the field.

Except for Brooks and RBY those other guys are nearly unknown to me (blame me for not following HS closely enough). I hope PSU's fans are right and that those guys have made big strides because I'd love to see a respectable competition. Would be even happier if the Cowboys proved competitive at NCAAs.

Starocci and Kerkvliet are NCAA final/champ type guys right out of the gate.
