nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Apologies if thread exists. Every match so far has been great. Current MVP for me is Gunderson. Absolutely brilliant peformance from her.
nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Weiller looked good. Woods did until he got caught in that cradle...
nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Bigger Bianchi and the three youth matches were spectacular. Simon outclassed his kid, after the kid tried to get him on some flashy stuffs.
nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Older(smaller) Bianchi looks real good here, too, despite appearing clearly smaller than Burwick.

nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 How tall is Welker? Solid performance there for her. Didn't look like Tuttle(cadet medalist) had anything for her (both are in high school).
nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Monday could be the best first 60 second wrestler at 165 this year... wish he could put it all together. Also, Wick calling out McFadden was cool.

nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Haha Looks like Gross got the Packer refs involved for this one too.
nom 837 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 (edited) That was an ugly match..... Gilman looked bad ... can't convert on the TDs ... and Gross looked bad, Gilman was living on his legs. Gilman surprisingly wasn't looking for step outs early ... then started getting them.... a ton of OOB where I could have seen points awarded but were not. The ref and the side refs were not in sync. Yuck. Edited December 17, 2020 by nom
nom 837 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 BTW - Gross wins on a go behind when Gilman got extended, and a quick chest wrap tilt when Gilman was in again ... for his 4 points. Gilman's 4 were all step outs in the 2nd period.
hammerlockthree 2,041 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Gilman takes it with a 57 K weigh in.
nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 So Gross won 4-4 on criteria, but he's lost the wrestling match... He did nothing there and didn't even try to do anything.
Ogalthorpe Haywood 322 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 That ref was not on Gilmans side at all. 1 hammerlockthree reacted to this
nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 (edited) Gillman has the 1 seed locked. I imagine Daton and Lee will have the 2 and 3. Puts Gross and Arujao at the 4/5? Edited December 17, 2020 by nhs67
nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Just now, Ogalthorpe Haywood said: That ref was not on Gilmans side at all. He brought the Packer refs in for this one. Biiig homers.
nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Gross wanted to call Lee out there.

nhs67 1,053 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 M.O.W. I think Gunderson still has it for me. She came out and got steamrolled in the first few moments of the match by a more powerful wrestler, then was pristine from there with a couple if big 4 pointers. Also all three youth matches and the Bianchi brothers were fire, too. All in all a very good card. The finals rsther shrouds it for me. 2 events with Gross in the finals that had evidently very biased refs in both. That doesn't look good.

AnklePicker 531 Report post Posted December 17, 2020 Main event was an interesting match. Gotta give Gross credit for how physical he is for a skinny dude. I’ve seen a lot of refs call all those step outs but definitely that last one. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone fake as many times as Gross does per shot attempt. He had 300 fakes and 1 shot in that match. Has there ever been a coach and wrestler as close as Gross and Bono with such polar opposite styles? 1 nhs67 reacted to this
