I think Cael completed that project with flying colors.  Verk battles with Type 1 diabetes and hasn't been hospitalized once with his weight cut.

They all get together every four years to decide which team is going to get all the top recruits that don't go to PSU and the other teams cannot recruit them. After a couple of cycles of this strategy has resulted in PSU getting 2nd place every other year instead of once a decade, top recruits will shun PSU for their failures.

All this time teams have messed it up by not trying hard enough to beat PSU.
