moodybooty 32 Report post Posted February 15 Without thinking about brackets and seeds and all that: 125: Spencer Lee over Dylan Ragusin. Simple. 133: Daton Fix over Roman Bravo-Young, but I'm not ruling out DeSanto beating either of them. 141: Nick Lee over Jaydin Eirman, though I'd love to see Echemendia or Rivera sneak in there. Really wish Real Woods could've made one last push here. 149: Sammy Sasso over Brock Mauller, but who knows. Bet the top 4 seeds don't hold course. 157: David Carr over Ryan Deakin, and those quarters and semis are gonna be FUN. Can't wait to see how this shakes out. 165: Mekhi Lewis over Alex Marinelli, hopefully. Both currently dealing with medical stuff. If either one of them don't make it, this weight is nowhere near as fun. 174: DJ Washington over Michael Kemerer. Book it. Carter breaks through next year, but Donnell is on a mission. Love to see it. 184: Aaron Brooks over Hunter Bolen, or whoever makes it through on the other side. Mans isn't getting beat this year. He wasn't losing after that Venz hiccup last year, either. 197: Myles Amine over AJ Ferrari in arguably the corniest weight of the year. 285: Gable Steveson over Mason Parris, but only because of the tattoos and haircut. If Gable didn't get the sleeve this year, it'd be all Mason. 3 1 nhs67, portajohn, Mphillips and 1 other reacted to this

Along with cleaning up some technique Washington would need to somehow find find a major gas tank upgrade in the next few weeks if he’s going to be a big tournament threat. That weight class is kinda a mess at the moment, but I’m not sure if Washington’s even shown enough to be solid AA choice yet. I do believe another year of refining his skills with Tsirtsis/Jordan working with him and time to build his lungs could get Washington closer to his ability getting closer his potential. Would have liked to see if he could have closed the gap with some of these guys more if we had a full season go him to work through.

BigTimeFan 1,032 Report post Posted February 15 So far this grand assembly of wrestling enthusiasts has come found only one consensus pick - Spencer Lee, which has as much to do with the weakness of the weight this year as his skill does. Of course the one has something to do with the other as well. It’s going to be a fun tournament. 1 IfYouAin'tFirstYou'reLast reacted to this

portajohn 212 Report post Posted February 15 Ragusin getting a lot of love in these picks. Curious to know the reasoning. I know he wrestled up a weight class yesterday against a stud but I can't recall a point in the match where he was even close to generating any offense. Personally think he's a year or two away from potentially reaching the finals.

BigTimeFan 1,032 Report post Posted February 15 Just now, Perry said: I felt there had to be at least one dissenter and that's the only way I knew to realistically mark Lee as an L.. True. I honestly think contenders should bubble it up till NCAA’s and as someone suggested on another thread I think teams should be all over their guys behavior and exposure especially the backups. Imagine is Lee gets it from some guy who decided to go to a party and have some fun ?
