Mo Wright has a good story.  He was a two time CA state qualifier and one time CA state placer (2nd) who probably had the most post-high school success out of anyone from California's class of 1999.  He didn't take a redshirt year and still was a 4 x AA and 2 x Champ.

Yes.  John's sister I believe is his mom.

The finals were insane that year. 1st NCAA's I ever attended.  Team score came down to ndsu and sdsu and sdsu had defending champ...he lost. Also 125 match ended in fall in 18 or 19 seconds with 0 takedowns
