Why does it seem like JJ Dixon has been at Oregon State for the majority of this millennium?

This is his 3rd year at Oregon State.

He won his second Washington State HS title in 2018. He redshirted his freshman year at OSU, so he has two more years of eligibility after this year.

Any relation to Andrew Dixon formerly of Oklahoma?  It was him that I was thinking about.

Oklahoma and Oregon State both have had some matches with Michigan gents the last many years.

No - The Dixon brothers I think were from Oklahoma. JJ does have a pretty tough younger brother though.

Weren’t they triplets?

No, however there were six brothers total, though.

You have Andrew, Lance, and Joel who all wrestled for Oklahoma and JJ who wrestled at Oregon State.

Then you have the other two, famed archer Daryl and the oldest, Merle.  I believe the reason we didn't see either of them on the mat was because Daryl ended up killing Merle.  Worth a google if you've got a minute.
