Has there ever been a 10 AA team in d3?  Loras will finish with 9 this year.   

also on flo I don’t see team scores?   Are they keeping them. 

Wartburg has 7 in the semis and one in the consis... Loras has 6 in the semis and 3 in the consis.

Typically 60 teams qualify individuals through the regionals. It lacks some of the usual suspects, but it's been a great event. Kids celebrating hard just the same when they punch through in the bloodround or win in the semis. 

I guess it's a good thing for the kids out here scrapping you aren't the one who gets to make the distinction of who is and isn't an All-American.

No it's a bad thing for kids that didn't get to go.  This is no different than a 32 team tournament. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

Actually, it is different. 

This 34-team tournament awards season-ending All-American plaques that are identical to the ones presented to the Division III placewinners since the division was started in 1974. My feelings are irrelevant, the facts aren't, however. Have a nice day.

You are seeing the best of all the D3 wrestlers in the nation that are able to compete. Yes, there are some at home who probably would have medaled, but many standing on the podium would be there even if everyone is there. Why would you want to take AA honors from them too? That makes no sense. There are going to be a few in D1 that make the podium too who probably wouldn’t have if the ivies and others were in. Should we take AA honors from every D1 wrestler too?

Thankful for the seniors that missed their Jr. season NCAA Tournament and got to wrestle at a post season national tournament this year. It’s definitely been a different last two seasons for DIII (an all) wrestlers, but this was still something kids have been working for and earned.

I saw Coach Roulo from Averett mentioning on Facebook of a 9th place finish.  So, did someone do the team math on hypothetical team finishes?  Coast Guard was a team I was very interested in for this event.
