He’s trying to get in Dakes head. He does it every time they wrestle. Dake just needs to stay focused and wrestle his match.

Burroughs was all over Dake's face.  As usual.  Effective tactic.  Surprised the refs weren't stopping it more early.

Dake just shut down Burroughs with incredible positioning and great scrambling.  EXTREMELY impressive.  Dake's daughter is looks like she can also lecture us on the benefits of functional patterns.

Impressed with Dake not whining to the refs, turning away to hold his eye, fix a contact, etc. Finally getting a shot and winning twice at 79 has made all the difference in his mental game.

Always has been. He throws more combo punches than Mayweather.

That was a bit of a shocking lack of risk from Burroughs.  Doubles are going to be very difficult with the lost step or two.  Honestly, I'd shoot singles and look to get push outs.

Dake's counter-offense is just so incredible.  Even from one hip he can crotch lift guys over for points, you could see as soon as Burroughs initial momentum gets stopped he's fighting a losing battle.

Pretty tough match. Dake was getting gassed too but he had the better match & game plan.
