Anyone have the latest? Vito looked ready against JV competition at the Pan Ams.

Vito is going to Tokyo as a backup.  He did say in an interview that he doesn't want his participation in the Olympics to be due to an injury to Gilman.

Gilman could have his foot amputated on July 31 and he would still compete in Tokyo. The only way he doesn't wrestle is if he tests positive.

That would help him make weight more comfortably too!

Call it the JB ankle precedent

I feel it MAY be a different procedure now, especially as it is the Olympics as compared to the Worlds.  I could be completely wrong about this, but I thought I heard whispers regarding how injuries will be handled by the medical staff.
