From whose perspective? To the world we are over performing now. Only Americans were picking Gillman to medal. I don’t think they would have been sold on Gable either. If Snyder gets silver/gold, then definitely an over performance because Gilman getting bronze and Stevenson getting gold are much more surprising than Dake getting bronze.
