That is why people clamor for Cox.

Snyder has less than nothing to offer against him.  The Tank is better in every single aspect by a far margin.

If Sadulaev wishes to cement his legacy, he now goes 125 and wins there.

Clamored for Cox. Not anymore. That ship sprung a leak while it was still in the port and it is currently sinking somewhere out in the bay.

Snyder is a P4P top 10 and sat at the top of the throne for a year himself. No fault of his own that his biggest rival is on travelling a path of all time greatness. Unfortunately, the history books will not be kind to Snyder if he can't quickly reverse the results.

Didn't watch the match. Did Kyle get to a leg any point?

No, he was careful to not get exposed again, and he went to the clock the second time because he fled the hold when Sad put him on the chest wrap.

Serious question: At what point does Kyle mix it up and go somewhere else? He left the OhioRTC because he was trying to beat Sad. That hasn't worked and according to y'all, Kyle wasn't even close to scoring. Does he go to Nebraska and reunite with Tervel? You're trying to be the best in the world and right now the plan isn't working.

Welp...I was dead wrong. That wasn't even close. Snyder has now deployed 2 different strategies to defeat Sadulaev this year and neither kept him close. NLWC isn't gonna do jack for him until he gets better on the mat, which he clearly hasn't. This is no longer a rivalry, Sadulaev owned him easily in the last 3 matches. It hasn't been competitive since last decade.

Ah, see that was mentioned on Twitter. Just people complaining that Kyle went on the shot clock twice.

Basically two ways for Snyder to win:

1.  Just go all out coming forward knowing that Sadulaev is comfortable not attacking for a bit to conserve his gas, and hope Sad doesn't score TOO much before he tires out.

2.  Plant your ass dead center and hand fight (even if you're losing) the **** out of Sadulaev, counting on Sadulaev's willingness to conserve and hope to tire him out that way and win at the end.

Today he did a lackluster version of 2.  He needs to fully commit to it.  Even if he does, though, Sadulaev is so good anyway...

Anyway, he's the only current senior level athlete to have a win over Sadulaev.  Nothing to sneeze at there, even if he (likely) never beats Sadulaev again.  I know that's not what Snyder wants to hear or think, but it is what it is.  Sometimes, people are just better than you no matter how hard you work.

They really don't have anybody there that's around his weight that's nearly as good as him.  The only guys close to that weight  that he can really practice with are Zahid and Kordell Norfleet.

Yes, his legacy as a 7x Olympic/World champion at the age of 25 is still not good enough. I personally will only be impressed if he pins Zare and Gable on the same night.

Dude, The Genius, one of our biggest Iranian fans on here, has been coming for necks all WCs!  Don't know what lit a fire, but you've been hilarious, my dude.

Complaining because they can complain, it's unfounded, the second shot clock was deserved seeing the way he fled that hold and Sadulaev was controlling the center.

LOL he needs to go train with Gable then. I remember Ohio RTC actually brought in Akgul to train with him back in the day

Remember the Russian coach made a prediction before 2018 worlds?

1.) Kyle wouldn't score a single point.

2.) Kyle would never beat Sad again.

Kyle got pinned and has never won again! I need to get stock tips from this guy.

Come on. His 2-0 lead was not comfortable. Had Snyder gotten a takedown he would have been in the lead on criteria.

you actually think there was a chance of this?

As i see it Kyle have big hole at his handfighting, sure it is common issue for most US wrestlers but imho he have to train with Dake or his coaching stuff, only US top lvl wrestler who is good at handfighting. Kyle would somehow learn Irani style handworking he would be unstoppable. His handgame mostly leading to tire opponend or deceive - to leg shot - but he scared to make long hand contact to wrestler who really good at it
