Elevator 307 Report post Posted January 10 Watching Iowa and PSU matches I naturally asses who will win each weight at this dual and who will win NCAA's. Yes Michigan is tough, but do not put them quite there. Iowa -PSU dual - assuming no Covid problems - should be epic. Seems to me that 8 of 10 weights are one score close matches, with only 165 and 184 with very clear favorites. I am assuming Berge goes at 157 and is in form. So while the dual looks to be close in most matches, the team score final might not be. 125 - have not seen enough of either to be sure, 1 pt edge to Hildebrandt for experience 3-0 133 - RBY seems unstoppable 6-0 141 - Seems like the riddle is starting to get solved 9-0 149 - Iowa gets one back 9-3 157 - Berge is such an unknown, till I see him giving Iowa the edge 9-6 165- The Bull gets major 9-10 174 - Young Champ over Grandpa - pours it on in the 3rd - 12-10 184 - Assad mixes it up, but this does not work well 15-10 197 - Dean wins with relentless pace 18-10 285 - Skinny Hwt Championship Goes to Kerk w better mat wrestling 21-10 3 Plasmodium, flyingcement and portajohn reacted to this
portajohn 439 Report post Posted January 10 Nice predictions. I'm feeling Ayala beats Hildebrandt if he can avoid going underneath, Bartlett beats Murins in OT, Brooks majors Assad, and healthy Kerk beats skinny Cass.

Starocci beats Great GrandPa Kem. Nick Lee beats the Riddler. DeSanto melts down after RBY rocks his world a second time in Carver. Shouldn't portajohn be our best source for who's out sick? Just asking for a bunch of wrestling fan friends. ;) Just now, portajohn said: I hope you're wrong even though you're probably right

IronChef 1,097 Report post Posted January 11 I don't think Marinelli majors anyone PSU sends out at 165.Ayala seems like a guy who is tough to beat the first time you see his stuff, so he's definitely got a shot against Hildebrandt.
