Watching Iowa and PSU matches I naturally asses who will win each weight at this dual and who will win NCAA's.  Yes Michigan is tough, but do not put them quite there.

Iowa -PSU dual - assuming no Covid problems - should be epic.   Seems to me that 8 of 10 weights are one score close matches, with only 165 and 184 with very clear favorites.  I am assuming Berge goes at 157 and is in form.  So while the dual looks to be close in most matches, the team score final might not be.

125 - have not seen enough of either to be sure, 1 pt edge to Hildebrandt for experience 3-0

133 - RBY seems unstoppable 6-0

141 - Seems like the riddle is starting to get solved  9-0

149 -  Iowa gets one back  9-3

157 - Berge is such an unknown, till I see him giving Iowa the edge 9-6

165- The Bull gets major  9-10

174 - Young Champ over Grandpa - pours it on in the 3rd - 12-10

184 - Assad mixes it up, but this does not work well 15-10

197 - Dean wins with relentless pace 18-10

285 - Skinny Hwt Championship Goes to Kerk w better mat wrestling 21-10

Nice predictions.  I'm feeling Ayala beats Hildebrandt if he can avoid going underneath, Bartlett beats Murins in OT, Brooks majors Assad, and healthy Kerk beats skinny Cass.

Healthy Berge takes out GrandPa Young. Starocci beats Great GrandPa Kem. Nick Lee beats the Riddler.

DeSanto melts down after RBY rocks his world a second time in Carver.

I predict at least 3 total starters out for some sort of reason, ending with a disappointed college wrestling fan base.

Shouldn't portajohn be our best source for who's out sick? Just asking for a bunch of wrestling fan friends. ;)

This is true.  I have quite the sample collection in my line of work but unlike other wrestling sources I respect the coaches and do not leak this info out of respect.

I've heard some of your locations have leaks, I'll not disclose specifics.

That's been dealt with. Back when things were good, me made the most of it. During the 08 recession, Mineo and I ran Johns into Canada... made a fortune, Saylor, too. As much as anyone, I loved him and trusted him. But not anymore.

All the picks you made are very sensible. I just have a hard time seeing it go this way. But that's what makes this fun!

Ayala dec Hildebrandt (3-0)

RBY dec Desanto  (3-3)

Lee dec Eierman (3-6) - going out on a limb that Lee gets close to a major and this inspires Eierman to up his game for BIG and Nationals

Murin dec Bartlett (6-6)

Young dec Berge (9-6)

Marinelli dec Edsell  (12-6)

Starrocci dec Kem (12-9)

Brooks MD Assad (12-13)

Dean dec Warner (12-16)

Cass dec Kerk (15-16)

Would not be fun without a point deduction from Iowa; final score PSU 16: Iowa 14
