Kasper McIntosh the Minnesota transfer that came back to the Hoosier state gets the nod for IU.  Hoosiers trying to find another match to get some needed meet points.

Two great flurries in the 2nd but no scores of them.  Fish attaching, McIntosh reattaching, And Fish scrambling and attaching again.

Not much happened through the majority of the 174 match.  I’m SV  Jimenez running for the line on a few South TDs.  The Jimenez got in on a leg a couple times near the end but South able to fight it off.  Going to tiebreaker with South looking to have the better top advantage.  South wins the ride out battle.

12-11 IU

With Caffey and the HWT match looming Washington needing to have a solid match for IU to keep them in it.

Washington aggressive early but rolled his TD to cradle onto his own back causing Malczewski to give up the reversal.   Washington get the reversal on a restart.   Escape and then another TD by Washington.  Escape again.  6-4 1st for Washington. Already twice as much action than the entire last match.  Washington may not want to roll around with Mal too much on the mat.  Escape Mal and after a couple attempts eventual TD in second Washington.  8-5 2nd.   Ends 8-5 in 3rd

15-11 Hoosiers.

Wilham needs to find a way to contain Caffey. Which will be a task.

157 match may comeback to be the difference if Spartans  win pull off the rest.   133 if Hoosiers find a way to close it out.

A few TD battles but ends 0-0 after 1st. William centimeters from a escape call but Caffey rides him out in 2nd.  Caffey escape and holds on in 3rd 2-0 after riding point.

15-14 IU going into HWT.  Both on the lighter side of it.  Not sure we have enough to go off of here.

0-0 1st Hand fighting but not much action.

Wilton keeping pressure on top to build RT on Bullock. Bullock finally gets escape late.  1-0 Bullock but Wilton has RT so far.   Could be the difference if Bullock starts to tire by the 3rd.  Wilton escape pretty quick.  Bullock going to have to pressure for rest of march.

Big10 HWT where you go from how amazing are they to how are they part of the conference.  Bench football scholarships takes away so many potential HWT guys.

Thanks for the updates. I for one didn’t think iu would be in this dual.
good for the Hoosiers

I was thinking exactly this while sitting and waiting for the outcome of the match to be determined by the heavies yesterday afternoon. Two big , not very athletic guys ,that don’t have the mustard to play football ,rolling around on the mat giving it everything, to get a little scoli money while involved in a sport.

The Refs explanation was that Foley didn’t get himself all the way behind Hudkins to secure the takedown while Brock still had one hand on the mat.  I didn’t think it was going to get overturned.

Hudkins is getting back to his old form. Hope it continues. With the unfortunate injury last year , I would like to see him AA this year.
