redblades 322 Report post Posted June 12, 2013 Pretty dam good dual meet! :) I see this one a 5-5 split. B10 wins it on Taylor Bonus Points. That was an awesome Lehigh team that year, 5 EIWA champs.

redblades 322 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 No way Taylor would get a bonus win over Letters. Not even if it's a freshman Letters vs. a junior Taylor? I'm thinking Letters' aggressiveness could have worked against him, maybe Taylor would pick up a few tilts. But on the other hand, its worth pointing out - after three seasons Taylor and Letters each had finished 2,1,2 at NCAA's - so maybe they would have been pretty close to even? NewJersey125 1 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 Letters was a 2x finalist. Finished 3rd in 2005 behind Perry and Hendricks

dsnc471 25 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 NO WAY LETTERS MAJORED IMPOSSIBLE. IT IS A NIGHTMARE STYLE MATCH-UP FOR TAYLOR. Although I would have said it was impossible for a freshman Mark Perry to beat Letters when he was at his prime. Yet it happened, and Perry even got nearfall using Letters own signature crab ride against him. On the surface I'd say I agree with you that it's a nightmare matchup for Taylor. But you never know. Adam Bomb 2 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 I believe Taylor would win the match with Letters, but think it would be very interesting and fairly close. Watching Dake ride Taylor leads me to believe Letters could also. I'm not saying that Letters was better on top than Dake, just that he was a beast. 8-5 Taylor
bwh27 31 Report post Posted June 13, 2013 Depends if in this hypothetical 2013 Taylor has the experience of training extensively with older Letters. In fact, it gives the 2013 wrestlers an advantage in every damn match, they may know the style and go-to moves of their 2003 opponents....... Speaking of which, would Cael have gone undefeated if 2002 Cael time-traveled back in time to compete against 2000 Cael?
