Yup, he beat the bull and wick to reach the finals. That cradle on Joseph had the whole arena pumped, except for psu fans. I like Joseph by the way. Nothing but respect for the guy, just a VT fan gloating at our only natty champ.

Being a jersey guy I had followed Mehki for a couple years already before he got to V tech and the fact that he went from barely beating Kyle Cochran in the state finals his sr year to knocking off The Bull, Wick and Cenzo in a row as a redshirt freshman shows how great of a job the coaching staff did down in Blacksburg , I mean he jumped several levels in less than 2 years and only one of them as a starter , absolutely wild run 1 Creek chub reacted to this

That's why you have to go with Rohn as single greatest, it was simply brilliant how he set up Lambrecht! :) 2 misanthrope and potentiallydangerous reacted to this
Casper 89 Report post Posted March 12 Schultz vs Banach. A lot of action made bigger by all the "4timer" talk on Banach before he had even won three. Schultz went up a weight to challenge him. ppitts71 39 Report post Posted March 12 Going back to watch Banach and McIlravy I can understand the criticism of “Iowa Style” vs “Gable Style”. Those guys were constantly moving opponents and taking ground, but using a variety of techniques to score takedowns. To be fair though, few guys are as aggressive as those guys. Probably why some of the recent Penn State legends have been so popular because they were the closest to wrestling like that.
