Katie 1,076 Report post Posted March 12 (edited) One of the great things about wrestling is that people with all body types can find success. In NCAA wrestling, the prototypical body type seems to be mesomorph. Nevertheless, B. Saitiev is among the greatest freestylers ever, and he’s an ectomorph. Who are some of the greatest ectomorphs in NCAA history? Edited March 12 by Katie

DanGerMan 152 Report post Posted March 12 (edited) I think Wade Schalles should be on this list. He gets credit for inventing the spladle and was known as the Plastic Man. And, although his resume has been shortened by injury, Ben Darmstadt sure fits the description. Chucktown_Luke 38 Report post Posted March 12 Evan Wick and Dean Hamiti definitely fit into this category for body type. I feel like Ed Ruth and Phil Davis were pretty long and lanky.

Marstellar, Fix, Whittlake, and AD weren't. But Mastro, Young, Stika, Harper, Camacho, Jack(s), Wilson, Trumble are. He was once Nolf's potential rival, but now is often the butt of jokes. A look at life in the shadow of his father would be compelling. jackwebster 305 Report post Posted March 12 Fwiw most of the guys mentioned only look skinny in comparison to the Kharchla's that they are wrestling, e.g. I was coaching against Kendall Cross at Super 32 and that dude had broader shoulders than me and I'm 6'.
