I like the Alirez/Buchanan picks. I'm only about 15 mins from UNC and an hour away from U Wyo so it'd be cool to see those guys do good.

Are you the same Gage (son of regular poster) that we are familiar with?

I was on TWT back in the day when I was much younger and now on TheOpenMat pretty regularly as well. Just started posting here. Not too sure.

Does anybody have a link to the excel form that typically comes out each year?  I would like to insert mine, but do not have a world of time to go through the brackets individually one by one.  I would rather look at each matchup and 'predict' them.

@flyingcement

We ought to do a contest.  Probably too late for this year.  Next year, God willing and if the creeks don't rise.

No money, one 1st prize.  Winner gets to have bragging rights for one year.  Scoring: 1pt for each correct place.  (I thought about 8 for first, 7 2nd, 6 3rd, etc, but heck it's harder to pick 8th right than first.)

We just need to figure a way to "submit" and verify the entries.  I have an idea, but not sure how practical it is.  Everyone could send an email of their completed sheet (pdf?) to my gmail acct before the tournament.  After the tournament is over, everyone tallies up their sheet and sends simply their score as the subject to my gmail.  I check the score emails for the highest number.  I then check the highest score's completed sheet to make sure he/she was accurate.

I have no idea if this makes sense, how many entries we'd get, the "capacity" of my gmail, and other things I'm sure I haven't thought of.  What do you think?

I got Noto from Lock Haven as a dark horse AA. Kid is the real deal.

He sure got a bad seed for a guy with a 29-1 record!  No wins over any high ranked guys kinda rained on his seeding parade.

Here's my 125 prediction

1. Suriano

2. Arujau

3. Glory

4. Courtney

5. Cardinale

6. Mastrogiovanni

7. Hildenbrandt

8. Schroder

R12: Teske, Camacho, Prata, Barnett

There is a lot of parity in the weight class from the 5th ranked to the 20th ranked.

for me my 125 R12 was Schroder, Teske, Miller, Mastrogiovanni

R16: Latona, Prata, Camacho, Hildebrandt

I wouldn't mind seeing young Drake Ayala doing well, but I have him losing to Courtney in the 2nd round and to Joey Prata in conso 2.

I've got him going 1-2. He's got a great record but he hasn't beaten anybody with a pulse.
