gimpeltf 1,464 Report post Posted June 22, 2013 i copied the wrong one that i wanted. that is the lift. i assumed it was this one. - To the wrestler who blocks his opponent on one or two outstretched arms, his back facing the mat. Interesting how the few weeks ago one of the big 'simplifying' points was to make all turns 2 hand-to-hand or not. As you guys said, I don't see that mentioned any more. gimpeltf 1,464 Report post Posted June 22, 2013 There are a few more points of rules confusion in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=65720 I remember that thread. Figured it was just a hold over from old rules.
jstock 125 Report post Posted June 22, 2013 The criteria for a 5 is much less than it used to be because we don't see them very often. 5 used to be feet to back, azz over elbows, straight over the top. High amplitude throws are few and far between so now the criteria is lowered to suite the wrestlers, officials and audience under today's rules.
