ionel 2,537 Report post Posted May 10 Probably a little known historical fact about Rutherford: Though Ohio had voted for Lincoln in 1860, Cincinnati voters turned against the Republican party after secession. Its residents included many from the South, and they voted for the Democrats and Know-Nothings, who combined to sweep the city elections in April 1861, ejecting Rutherford Hayes from the city solicitor's office. and who knew our very own Wrestlingknownothing was so well connected historically. Its surprising that Rutherford, Wrestlingknownothing and TBar all ended up as Penn State fans/supporters. I guess it explains the hatred for Ohio & any institutions therein. 1 flyingcement reacted to this
