All Americans for different schools

Recommended Posts

Who all has made All American for more than one school? This can include guys that wrestled smaller divisions as well as guys that wrestled for two different DI schools. Has anyone ever made All American at three different schools?

Scott Moore 4th for Penn State in 2003 and then 3rd for Virginia in 2004

Jamar Billman 5th for Penn State in 1998 and then 5th for Lock Haven in 2001 and 2002.

Paul Donahoe NCAA champion in 2007 and 3rd in 2008 for Nebraska and then 2nd for Edinboro in 2009.

Mo Lawal DII 2nd in 2001and NCAA Champion in 2002 for Central Oklahoma and then 3rd for Oklahoma State in 2003

Cary Kolat (Penn State & Lock Haven), Steve Fittery (Augsburg? and American), Townsend Saunders (Bakersfield and Arizona State), and I think Aaron Holker (BYU and Iowa State).

You are correct on Holker. He was 7th in 1999 for Brigham Young and then NCAA champion in 2002 and 7th in 2003 for Iowa State.

I have to run so won't do the research but didn't Brinzer AA for both Ok State and Iowa?

Also, there was someone back I think in the 70s that was at Iowa State and then years later (too many to be legal but no one seemed to catch it) for E Illinois (I think). He was a finalist one of those years.

Just remembered his name was Bob Holland.

Brinzer was a Big 8 champ but I do not believe a AA for Okie St and Bob Holland is who you were thinking of kinda of crazy that happened.

Joe M also placed 3rd for Iowa at 134 (not 133). 2nd to Smith as a junior, 3rd behind O'Day and Sewell I think it was as a senior. 4 time AA
