IronChef 1,141 Report post Posted July 22, 2013 That's Shippensburg (DII in PA) for Fittery, not Augsburg (DIII in MN).
JohnnyThompsonnum1 102 Report post Posted July 22, 2013 Cary Kolat (Penn State & Lock Haven), Steve Fittery (Augsburg? and American), Townsend Saunders (Bakersfield and Arizona State), and I think Aaron Holker (BYU and Iowa State). You are correct on Holker. He was 7th in 1999 for Brigham Young and then NCAA champion in 2002 and 7th in 2003 for Iowa State.

gimpeltf 2,089 Report post Posted July 22, 2013 I have to run so won't do the research but didn't Brinzer AA for both Ok State and Iowa? Also, there was someone back I think in the 70s that was at Iowa State and then years later (too many to be legal but no one seemed to catch it) for E Illinois (I think). He was a finalist one of those years. Just remembered his name was Bob Holland.

Brinzer was a Big 8 champ but I do not believe a AA for Okie St and Bob Holland is who you were thinking of kinda of crazy that happened.
