Terry Brands 2 World Golds = 10, Oly Bronze = 3, 2 NCAAs = 4, 1 NCAA final = 1 =18

Barry Davis 2 Oly or World Silvers = 6, 3 NCAAs = 6, 1 other AA = .5 = 12.5

Lincoln Mac = 3 World or Oly Silver/Bronze = 9, 3 NCAAs = 6, 1 NCAA final = 1 = 16

Greatest tournament......

Dave Schultz had one of those at the national open once...as did Bruce Kinseth and Howard Harris at the NCAAs.

Why does the "best ever" discussion include the whole career? Why not just a season or just a tournament?

Sorry, but all world Gold with no seconds or lower puts John Smith on top no matter what the numbers may add up to.

Baumgardner is there for longevity and excellence but not #1 compared to perfect in world Titles.

Dake really isn't even in the conversation with nothing on the world level so far.

Ok, I added everyone noted above plus Bill Zadick and Kerry McCoy.

Took out Dake and Cejuda. Must have scoring in both College and International to be eligible.

No Greco, sorry.

Thanks for the help. The scoring criteria is a bit subjective but I think it comes out with a pretty good compilation list.

I think the NCAA Champion vs Olympic Silver Medalist point value is a bit off. Very big achievement, yes, but I think it's safe to say that all of our NCAA Champs aren't Olympic Finals material. Also, how about finishes at Tbilsi for our older competitors? World Cup performances, maybe?
