Rest easy gentlemen. I got to the bottom of this. Its no big deal.

Ed Ruth was causing practice to become awkward and uncomfortable for every one. How so? He was randomly yelling out the cell phone number of Coach's mom! How he got that number -- well, you put that together.

This was causing everyone to chuckle at their friend, glance awkwardly at Coach and secretly admire Ed Ruth's sh!+ eating grin. Hopefully, Ed Ruth has learned the finer points of discretion and just prior to the Iowa dual things will return to normal.
