My guess at the 3 strongest candidates at this point are:

 

1. Durso - especially if he skips Midlands & goes to Lock Haven with his team.

2. McIntosh, if he successfully navigates PSU's December dual schedule (Ohio State & Iowa) & Scuffle is after Midlands.

3. Tsirtsis

I see that. Just figure he will trip up at Midlands somehow.

 

Vegas should shake this up a bit next week.

With starters Joey Napoli and Brian Brill sidelined, the Mountain Hawks bumped two wrestlers up two weight classes and both men managed to keep the Quakers to regular decisions. Freshman Will Switzer moved from 141 to 157 to face Ray Bethea and actually took a 6-4 lead with a late third period takedown, but Bethea reversed to tie the match and prevailed 7-6 thanks to a 1:10 riding time advantage.
