MA_Wrestler 169 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Pretty much all chalk at 25, Garrett n Mega cruise, looks like we'll get that rematch. Morrison wins, Roth beats Conaway by 1, Thorn majored Soto, Gulibon over Mango. Didn't expect Thorn to dominate a tough Soto like that, I had my doubts about him at 33 but he cold to a long way to Minny's national title hopes. Gulibon, talk about hot n cold, loses to Dane Harlowe, beats Mango, go figure. Not making it an easy choice at 33, Conaway beat Mack who beat Gulibon. Broomstick 23 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Very few upsets in this tournament on the championship side through the quarters. It'd be nice to see some underdogs pull through in the semis. I've kind of gotten used to expecting big upsets this season.

I agree on those two, although Mango had already lost to Soto this year, so I'm not too suprised Gulibon took him out. Still, I'd expect to see see a few bigger names get taken out in the semis. IronChef 566 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Not making it an easy choice at 33, Conaway beat Mack who beat Gulibon. I don't think Gulibon and Mack wrestled this year. Mack beat Conaway in the dual before losing to him yesterday.
JohnnyThompsonnum1 91 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Blake Rosholt has really be having a down year. I'm anxious to see what he does against Boley this year as a true measuring point. He handled Boley easily by major 10-0 last year. I don't know if he'd even beat him this year. Something's wrong with Rosholt, not sure what.

Gambatte 45 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Grey was injured at the Las Vegas tourney prior to his match with Colon. Essentially was wrestling with one arm. VakAttack 1,987 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Apparently Villalonga is FFTing out, which adds precious bonus points to Minny's total. They may have a shot at the upset here. They need to perform well in the semis.

simple 165 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Gullibon takes out Thorn, and #1 seed C Dardanes loses to Spisak who will now have Retherford in the finals. Not looking good for MN
VakAttack 1,987 Report post Posted January 2, 2014 Apparently my boy Ian Miller just pinned Ness after getting the opening TD. Minny's chances are no plummeting. Gonna need Storley to beat Brown and Schiller to keep advancing.
