skikayaker 93 Report post Posted January 3, 2014 This was Cornell's sweet revenge. Ruth handed it to Lewnes as a RS Freshman, and Cornell handed it right back to him by a true freshman. Cornell is becoming Penn State's thorn.

BIGRHINO1 2 Report post Posted January 3, 2014 Dean did a great job...but Ruth looked like he was moving in slow motion compared to his normal pace during that match
TBar1977 4,532 Report post Posted January 3, 2014 Cornell is becoming Penn State's thorn. Is this what Cornell aspires to be? A thorn? I'd rather my team be described as a CHAMPIONSHIP caliber squad than a thorn any day of the week.
Serial_Thriller 77 Report post Posted January 3, 2014 Dean did a great job...but Ruth looked like he was moving in slow motion compared to his normal pace during that match Ruth always looks like he's in slo-mo out on the mat. That's what amazes me about him. And he still kills guys. (well, most of the time)

tec87 349 Report post Posted January 4, 2014 It always is amazing how 1 loss ends a particular era. Imagine if the Gable era ended with the Owings loss, the Dake era ended december of his frosh year to Humphrey or it started once he won the first title so then it ended twice as a soph then. The point of this post is that it is silly that we do this every time a really good wrestler or an out of the blue successful guy takes a loss.
SetonHallPirate 990 Report post Posted January 4, 2014 Taylor is safe. Now that Dake has graduated. ;) wow that made me think...if Dake RS....is DT a one timer? How do you know Dake wouldn't have jumped to 174 and tried to win that loaded weight, with Brown, Howe, and Perry (alphabetically)?
