It always is amazing how 1 loss ends a particular era. Imagine if the Gable era ended with the Owings loss, the Dake era ended december of his frosh year to Humphrey or it started once he won the first title so then it ended twice as a soph then.

 

 

 

The point of this post is that it is silly that we do this every time a really good wrestler or an out of the blue successful guy takes a loss.
