TripNSweep 510 Report post Posted February 13, 2014 Jamill Kelly. 4th at CA State, same as Stephen Neal. Daniel Mason-Straus was never a state champion but won high school senior nationals after gaining entry as a wild card. His best finish was 3rd in Ohio. lu_alum 794 Report post Posted February 13, 2014 Pat Santoro only places once in the PIAA tourney. 4x AA, 2x champ. PA is a pretty easy source for this list. There are many who have done well in college without winning a state title. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

lewboo 15 Report post Posted February 13, 2014 Dan Glenn was a 2 time Junior National champion who lost on split referees decision to Jim Gibbons in state finals. Glenn then placed 3,3,2 in NCAA's. Glenn beat Lewboo 8-7 at Junior Nationals. I believe 2 time NCAA champion Chuck Yagla never won state.

HurricaneWrestling 1,123 Report post Posted February 13, 2014 Henry Whittenberg did not wrestle at all in high school. He was a swimmer. Did Mark Schultz win a high school championship? Yes, Schultz won a California high school title at 154 pounds in 1978. That was only 16 months from the time he first took up the sport. Mark thought this was so miraculous that he started to believe in God. .
