Pa States AA

I think AAA is Northampton in 2000 with 137.5

In 2005 Council Rock and Council Rock South were Co-champions. I believe this is the year that the schools split. I wonder what their team score could have been if they were one team?

EDIT: It was Connellsville not Council Rock

Question about Nolf. Is he effective from top against the best guys? In the few times Ive watched him, he likes to release to neutral. Just wondering about his mat skills. Is he going to be another Dylan Alton type with better technique and a bigger gas tank?

Nolf can ride, but he also likes the take down let em back up and take them down again game.

how would Moisey do AAA at 126? i'd say top 4.

had he stayed at Northampton, they would've had 5 placers this season after a bad dual season. and since he and Valley would be the same weight, one of them would be bumped up or forced to drop.

Since Nolf's W-L record is something like one hundred and infinity to one I'd suggest he is pretty good in every position. This morning's newspaper reports that he has pinned his last 11 opponents in the most recent 12 post-season matches, so I'd guess he did more than take down and let up.

I wasn't being critical at all. Sheesh.

Sorry, I pulled the wrong quote -- this was directed at the OP, who I should ignore as just a pot-stirrer, but I thought it was just too ignorant to let pass.

Nolf ended his career with his 3rd PIAA Class AA State Championship and a career record of 176-1. Wow. Amazing.

The pin against Barnes was a little flukish as he got Barnes vertical on then just rolled backwards a little. Jason ended up as the AA Outstanding Wrestler. This kid is college ready right now and, imo, will challenge to start for Penn State next year.

Nolf got the OW yesterday. Finishes career with 3x and 177-1. Amazing.

Indeed, and easily justifies the Dapper Dan committee picking him early. In any other year that didn't have Marstellar (and maybe Haines) he would have been even more celebrated.

Good luck to him in the DD and at PSU.

Nolf, despite one ;less title, probably had an even better career than Haines. He lost only once in h.s., and wrestled an arguably tougher schedule.

I think Moisey would do ok at AAA when you consider that he beat kalodsik twice and kalodsik beat macri by 10 and tech falled headlee.
