maligned 529 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 Sorry if it's already been covered...why is Howe out for the US Open?
BigApple 86 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 I think if he missed another class his grade would drop one letter grade. He's in grad school carrying a 4.0, so don't think he wanted to take that chance. He should be at the WTT.

You'd think if Howe cared that much about his education, he would have stayed and gotten his degree from Wisconsin.

You'd think if Howe cared that much about his education, he would have stayed and gotten his degree from Wisconsin. That was a low blow. The University of Oklahoma is a fine institution an if Howe wasn't happy at Wisconsin then that would likely be a hinderance to getting the most out of his education. Best to go where he'll be happiest and most motivated.
jchapman 1,330 Report post Posted April 19, 2014 I suppose he wasn't happy winning an NCAA and US Open championship while at UW. Look, I am an alum of UW, so obviously I am biased. If Andrew is happy at Oklahoma, good for him. Everyone has to make decisions that are best for their situation. I will be cheering for him if he represents the US.
