AnklePicker 531 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 Foster beating Wright 10-0 is impressive. He's looking great. Can't wait to see him vs Ruth.
Jaroslav Hasek 1,890 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 kinda odd seeing McD at a weight above Graff. looks like the moves worked for both of them tho, so good for them. most intriguing match ups at first glance are Marable v Green and Foster v Ruth. and both 65 semis, altho just about every match at that weight has been all star caliber. boy do i wish cheapo verizon FiOS had Universal Sports on their basic sports package. AnklePicker 531 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 Anyone see Sanders pin Escobedo? Just wondering how it went down.
wrestlingnerd 2,597 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 Anyone see Sanders pin Escobedo? Just wondering how it went down. Esco was racking up a tech, then Flo crapped out on me and I didn't see how the pin went down. Not the dominant win that the outcome indicates. Separately, are these matches going to be televised or streamed on Flo, or both? Anyone?
meloserio 8 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 I really need someone to explain the sponsorships/club teams. So at 65kg, Brent Metcalf is sponsored by Cliff Keen, but is an NYAC athlete, training at Hawkeye wrestling club? And Reece Humphrey is sponsored by Compound/Flips, is an NYAC athlete, training at the Ohio RTC? For team score purposes, is Kellen Russell being scored as NYAC or CKWC? Also, who else has seen BJ Futrell's TMWC/CKWC singlet, that is sweet.
Coolbeans 6 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 Anyone see Sanders pin Escobedo? Just wondering how it went down. Ankle: Esco was up 8-0 at the end of the first. I believe two td.'s and two exposures. At the start of the second, Esco shot in on Sanders and had a high single. Sanders did a cutback and pinned Esco. It looked like Esco hurt his knee as well. I see Esco inj. defaulted out of his next match.
AnklePicker 531 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 Thanks guys, that stinks for Esco. Hopefully he's ok for the WTT's.
