Being a fan at the WTT 2014

I just want to give a shout out to EVERYONE that made time for the fans. I was able to bring my 5 year old son along with me and attended the trials along with the head coach of our high school team and his son. I had never prior attended an event of this magnitude on the USA wrestling level. It seemed every direction I looked in the stands and around the venue I saw legends (new and old) of our sport. Our sons were able to get a few autographs from wrestlers sitting in the stands near us and as we walked out. It put a smile on my face to see him have such a great time. He would ask me the name of the wrestler signing his shirt and then say "Thank you, ." Making time for kids does so much for promoting our sport. My son just HAD to sleep in his shirt he had signed and wore his Camo USA Wrestling shirt to school today!

 

I left this event proud to be part of a wrestling community!
