Who were Pat Smith's career losses to?  Also, did he have 4 or 5 losses?  I have read both.

I found Steve Hamilton of Iowa State was the last person to beat him in college. Though he avenged that loss at least once later on.

I know had 5 losses occurring his freshman year and I believe 2 ties at some point.

I believe all of Pat Smith's losses came in his first year. At the latest, his last loss came as a sophmore. Interesting fact, if Logan Stieber wins his 4th national title this year, he will be the only 4 timer that lost as an upperclassmen.

I think that Hamilton win over smith was in Ames during the dual meet. I was there
