Chasden 54 Report post Posted November 21, 2014 Thanks for posting. Nolf is going to be exciting to watch next year, he is relentless. I also like how relaxed he is when guys are on his legs. I would love to watch him and Taylor wrestle at practice. PSU is going to be scary good next year.

Tofurky 616 Report post Posted November 21, 2014 That match with Cisneros was a good one. Chasden is right about how comfortable Nolf looks when guys are on his legs. Cisneros is no chump in an excellent program himself, so that win speaks volumes for where Nolf is already and sets a pretty high bar on where he is projected to go during the next five years. PSU is going to be really, really fun to watch between 2015-16 and 2018-19.
Tofurky 616 Report post Posted November 21, 2014 PS - Check out Nevills' technique on his snatch single, especially against Garren. (at 0:05 and 1:12) Someone's been watching some Yazdani videos as of late. ;)
TBar1977 4,533 Report post Posted November 21, 2014 True Wrestling just posted this match. Matt McCutcheon over Ophir Bernstein

I think he broke Varner's California H.S. pins record, and it looks like he is keeping a strong pace at this level too.
Jaroslav Hasek 2,050 Report post Posted November 21, 2014 nice highlight videos. nice of whoever made them to edit them down. PSU dudes look sharp early in the season. also thought it was funny seeing Cael and the other coach just chilling, standing up in the corner. no room for chairs i guess. 1 jtothep reacted to this
wrestlingnerd 3,003 Report post Posted November 22, 2014 Nolf's chain-wrestling is so impressive. Straight out of HS, e has such a wide arsenal of moves from leg attacks to counters to throws to short offense. A little sloppy given his youth, but he is already one of the best chain-wrestlers in the country. I'm a big fan already.

It is great wrestling fans like yourself, Chasden, guys that probably want to see videos like these of guys we have not seen in so long but perhaps don't know they exist that make posting them all the more worthwhile. Glad you enjoyed them. Edited November 22, 2014 by TBar1977
Jaroslav Hasek 2,050 Report post Posted November 22, 2014 im with TBar on this one. these were cool videos and the thread title makes it easy to avoid if you dont have any interest. it would be awesome if more people posted highlight clips of their favorite team's wrestlers from various tournaments and competitions that aren't otherwise readily available to watch. 1 PhiferFuqua reacted to this

Totally agree. I am a PSU fan, but it is great anytime you can check out some matches or highlights of some "studs" from ANY school.
