fadzaev2 545 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 Confusing people with facts. But that's the way some of us roll these days. Mike McArthur was before JRob....second to Jimmy Haines in '77.

wrestlingnerd 3,000 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 Damion Hahn----------------5,5,1,1 I wonder how he would've done at 197 all four years. Looking at him now and remembering how big he was for freestyle, I can't believe he made 184 for two years. I'm sure he grew a little somewhere in there but still, Hahn is so huge now and he's the same height he was throughout college.
jammen 336 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 I'm not certain of my premise but...Maybe this opinion is just some prejudice i developed... I simplified it for you. 1 jtothep reacted to this
hammerlockthree 2,587 Report post Posted February 10, 2015 I simplified it for you. So you won't address my argument, and based on your response don't understand it, but you will use my own modesty as an argument against it. Real clever of you. FATMANROLL 54 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 I would like to see a study on the match points scored by Gophers. To me it seems that as freshemen, the studs score a bunch but as their career winds down they score less and less. 1 hammerlockthree reacted to this
jammen 336 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 Is it just me or do Minnesota guys peak as freshmen or sophomores and then wait for people to graduate. It's just you. The only glaring exception i know is Manuel Rivera. And this may be typical of D1 to some extent, but the Minny guys are super impressive as freshmen, and really don't improve from there. Huh? The list of AA's disproves your theory, if that's what it is. Or maybe I could restate it this way, They don't peak as seniors. There is no such thing as "peaking". rossel3 77 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 This is interesting. Please expand your study to include the top teams. Thanks. Gut feelings are more important... it is well known how many hypothetical matches Dake lost. No reason to get bogged down with stats and reality. Jaroslav Hasek 2,047 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 this is ridiculous. it's getting to the point where you can't even spout off inflammatory summary opinions without evidence and not have people jump up your butt about 'data' and 'reality'. really wish people would just chill out and agree with everything i say. 4 tigerfan9311, JasonBryant, teach and 1 other reacted to this

hammerlockthree 2,587 Report post Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) this is ridiculous. it's getting to the point where you can't even spout off inflammatory summary opinions without evidence and not have people jump up your butt about 'data' and 'reality'. really wish people would just chill out and agree with everything i say. I framed them as inflammatory and summary. And consequently didn't expect such smug responses. What exactly was the thoughtful response that i rejected outright? Jaroslav Hasek 2,047 Report post Posted February 12, 2015 I framed them as inflammatory and summary. And consequently didn't expect such smug responses. if you intentionally frame your comments as inflammatory and summary then you should probably expect some smugness in the responses you elicit, among other strong reactions. just sayin. What exactly was the thoughtful response that i rejected outright? i dunno. this sounds like a semantic death spiral waiting to happen. pass.
